Occupational health and safety (OHS)
Advisory resources guide the executive committee members of local unions affiliated with the FIPEQ in the interpretation and application of legislation pertaining to OHS, and with regard to representation at the CSST, preventive leave, compensation for workplace accidents and much more.
These services are designed to assist local FIPEQ-affiliated unions with defending the rights of their members.
Advisory services are provided by resource people in a range of areas, including labour relations, occupational health and safety, the application of the group agreement, group insurance and social security.
Resource persons are able to provide support for defending health and safety rights by researching the required jurisprudence in the databases they have access to.
